A static site with no audience tracking.
LaborBrief does not run analytics, advertising pixels, user accounts, behavioral profiles, or a contact-form database.
The published site consists of static HTML, CSS, JavaScript, fonts, and images. The small JavaScript file sorts tables in the browser and does not transmit table choices or browsing activity. The site does not set its own tracking cookies or use local storage for profiling.
Like most web hosting, the server and protective network layer may process technical request information needed to deliver and secure pages, such as IP address, time, requested path, response status, and user-agent string. LaborBrief does not combine those delivery records with advertising profiles or sell personal information.
The contact form uses a mailto action. It prepares a message in the visitor’s configured email application rather than sending content to a LaborBrief database. Information included in an email is processed by the sender’s and recipient’s email providers. Visitors should not send claim credentials, government identifiers, medical records, or payroll passwords.
External source links lead to BLS, DOL, state agencies, EEOC, OSHA, NLRB, eCFR, and other public primary sources. Those sites publish their own privacy and security notices. LaborBrief does not control their logs, cookies, forms, or accessibility features.
Questions about this policy can be sent through Contact. The About page explains the independent publisher; How we verify explains data processing; Sources lists public publications; the guide library explains responsible use; and the footer on every page repeats the independence disclaimer. This policy was verified on August 4, 2026.
LaborBrief treats Privacy policy as a source-navigation page, not a substitute for the underlying publication. Dates, definitions, coverage, suppressed values, and exceptions remain attached to the source that produced them. Readers should preserve those details when quoting or comparing the page.
The verification date records when LaborBrief checked the material; it does not change the period measured or the effective date of a rule. Later agency updates should be checked through the linked primary source, and a missing field should remain unpublished until it can be confirmed.
